State of emergency remains in in effect in Steinhatchee due to flooding

Steinhatchee remains in a state of emergency due to substantial flooding.

Many roadways remain underwater.

Officials say over 30 inches of rain have fallen in the area since Thursday.

The Steinhatchee River is expected to crest tomorrow at noon at 23 feet, which is categorized as a "Moderate Flood" by the National Weather Service.

Curfew for the city remains in effect from 10:00pm until dawn.
