SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) -- The State is warning people about possible sewage contamination in WIthlacoochee and Suwannee Rivers again.
The advisory comes after 7.5 million gallons of untreated sewage was spilled in Valdosta, Georgia.
The original warning was given in December, but Florida EPA officials say slow moving currents mean we aren't in the clear just yet.
If you do touch the water in either river, make sure you wash off thoroughly. This warning only applies to people in Suwannee, Hamilton, and Madison Counties.
