OCALA, Fla. (WCJB)-- Ocala Police have obtained arrest warrants for three people they believe stole multiple guns from the Ocala Rural King.

On July 26th, just before midnight, four overnight employees heard glass breaking and immediately called the police.

Three people were caught on surveillance video breaking into the store with a sledgehammer and heading straight to the gun section.

22-year- old Carlos Eduardo Hampton, 18-year-old Quentin Augustus, and 21-year-old Jonathan Arthur Floyd are accused of stealing 10 guns from the store.

Police believe they are connected to seven other burglaries across the state.

With the help of Zephyrhills police, the three men are now in custody.

"We are very happy that some type of justice could be served here whether we were putting them in the Marion County jail or if their in the Pasco County jail we were very happy that the Zephyrhills Police Department, to be in partnership with them on this and find some justice for the Rural King,” said Public Information Officer with the Ocala Police Department Corie Byrd.

The three men are being held at the Pasco County jail.
