Local Chef takes Iron Chef title at Taste of Greater Gainesville

The Taste of Greater Gainesville is back for its 10th year this Sunday.

The non-profit fundraiser benefits children's charities and showcases more than 40 restaurants around Gainesville.

It also includes an Iron Chef competition featuring three local chefs.

As of this year, Taste of Greater Gainesville will have raised more than 650- thousand dollars, benefitting Tyler's Hope, the Ronald McDonald House, PACE Center for Girls and Child Advocacy Center.

Our very own Paige Beck will be baking a cake for the event, and our Alexis Cruz will be one of the emcees.
