Tech Tuesday: BehaviorMe making reality a little easier for kids with autism

Virtual reality technology is often used for video games, but one Gainesville startup is using it to help children with autism learn life skills

"BehaviorMe" is a company designed to help behavioral therapists, parents, and kids.

The company started in Gainesville, uses the technology to offer children with autism a safe space to practice day to day tasks.

The product is in clinics across the United States and even in Canada.

The simulations include how to safely cross the street, understand a fire drill, and how to avoid strangers.
