MARION CO., Fla. (WCJB) - The verdict is in and a Marion County jury has found a man from Texas guilty of second-degree murder.

Last June, the remains of 63-year-old Robin Lee Upson of Belleview were found.

In September, sheriffs deputies arrested 44-year-old Christopher Takhvar, who had been Upson's business partner for around 20 years.

After deliberating for an-hour-and-a-half, he was convicted on charges of second-degree murder and grand theft.

A jury will be selected in July for his sentencing trial.
