Tyler's Hope for a Dystonia cure is hoping to raise more funds for the holiday season.
Tyler was diagnosed with Dystonia, a neurological movement disorder, in 2005. Last year his younger sister Samantha was also diagnosed. The fundraiser today was held at The InterMed Group where both employees and other attendees competed in cornhole and a chili cookoff while raising money. All donations from the event benefitted Tyler's Hope and finding a cure.
"It's also curable. There's nothing degenerating, so when we find a cure it's a cure, not a prevention," said Rick Staab, Tyler's father.
