GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -

U-Haul will help Floridians impacted by Hurricane Dorian by offering some of their storage spaces for free.

The company is opening up 91 self-storage and "u-box" container sites across the state, including one in Gainesville.

The location on Northwest 6th Street, near the intersection of Northwest 13th Street, is the Gainesville location offering assistance.

These spaces will not be available before the storm, and are intended to help people whose homes have been damaged by the storm by giving them a safe place to store their property while they get their homes repaired.
