GAINESVILLE, Fla (WCJB) - The UF Career Connections Center held a Project Resume Event today, in which students were able to talk to professionals and polish up their resumes. Students were able to bring in a hard copy of their resume, and professionals walked through each section of the resume to provide tips and critiques.

Today was day two out of three of the event, which is designed to prepare students for the Career Centers biggest event, Career Showcase.

Career Showcase is a two-day event in which over 300 employers and 6,000 students are in attendance. Students are given the opportunity to talk with employers and potentially get internships, full-time or part-time jobs.

The Career Showcase will be next Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24 and 25. Tuesday is designated for non-technical careers and Wednesday is for technical careers.
