UF Health has launched its 3rd annual "Give Hope. Spread Joy." campaign to benefit the hospital, patients and staff during the holidays.
The campaign is an opportunity for people to give donations to the hospital that goes towards equipment, research and patient care at the Children's, Cancer Center; and Heart, Vascular and Nueromedicine hospitals. Donors also have the opportunity to add messages to the patients and staff to lift their spirits during the holiday season.
"Their faces really light up, and it just adds that special touch as they're going through so much here at the hospital during the holiday time. So it definitely brightens their day, brings them joy and lifts their spirits during the holidays," said Jessica Clayton, Senior Development Associate for Annual Giving.
Last year, UF health received more than 300 messages.
