UF President Kent Fuchs will meet with UF students about commencement changes

GAINESVILLE, Fla. University of Florida's President Kent Fuchs will meet with UF students about the commencement changes next Thursday.

As of Thursday night, the petition received over 10,000 signatures calling for UF to go back to the original format of recognizing everyone individually at the Stephen O'Connell center.

The changes came after the backlash the school received in May for forceful removal of some students during their spring commencement.

The meeting will be held at his office at 11:30 a.m.
