UF Student Government hosts Tail-Gator Thursday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- Some University of Florida students stood up and hollered to prepare for Saturday's football game.

Members of the Orange and Blue Cabinet in Student Government handed out pins and koozies to UF students to get them excited for the gator's home game against Tennessee.

The tail-gator event is held on every Thursday on the week the UF football team has a home game.

“A lot of students probably don't even know we have a football game this weekend,” said Ellory Fuqua, the Orange and Blue Cabinet Director. “As crazy as that sounds and as die-hard Gator fans are, some of our students aren't even aware, especially our international students. We're really just about engaging all of our student body and making sure that they're proud to be a Gator."

Student government will partner with Gator Growl to host more tail-gator events before homecoming on October 4th.
