GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -

The show must go on, but virtually.

At the UF Dance Marathon, over $2,500,000 was raised for kids at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital.

Usually, DM is an annual 26.2-hour-long event where hundreds of students stay awake to raise money for the Children's Miracle network.

This year Dance Marathon has kept donors updated through their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
