GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) --
The University of Florida is no longer allowing students or faculty to travel to China following the declaration of a global health emergency due to the spread of the coronavirus.

In an email to students and staff obtained by TV20, the university says it has found no cases of the Wuhan strain of coronavirus; however, out of an abundance of caution, employees will not be reimbursed for travel to China after today, and UF will no longer approve students to travel there.

So far, no cases have been detected in Florida.
