UF placed among the top ten journalism schools in the country

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)-- UF earning some incredibly high praise from college magazine this week. The university placed amongst the top ten journalism schools in the country.

The University of Florida places at number 4 on the magazine's list.

The article says that UF's college of journalism ensures that students work closely with faculty, hosts events with alumni and professionals and even matches students with professional mentors.

The list praised UF for its networking efforts and student-led organizations as well as its direct connections to national publications.

Rounding out the top half of the list, Arizona state came in at number five, Stanford at number 3, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill at number 2, and at number 1 is American University located in Washington D.C.
