The 15th Annual Musical Salute: Veterans Day Concert will be held at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from 7-9 pm for a tribute to our veterans.

The Buchholz High School Band & Aviance will perform songs and will be joined by the Buchholz High School Chorus for some of them.

Admission is free with a donation of one non-perishable food item as a suggested contribution for the Food4 Kids Backpack Program of North Florida.

The bikers on Parade benefiting military and first responders will be held on Sunday, November, 10th starting at 10 am. The staging lot is at Santa Fe College and will open at 8 am. the ride ends at Gainesville Raceway with an after-party of music, BBQ, beer, and raffles!

Registration is open to any all riders and the public is welcome to attend the opening ceremonies at Santa Fe College or to line the parade route to cheer on the riders. The after-party is open to the public for a $10/ donation.

The Florida Museum of Natural History is offering free admission to veterans for Veterans Day. On November, 11th, veterans will receive free admission to the Butterfly Rainforest and Crocs exhibits as well from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Valid forms of identification for veterans include a military ID, DD Form 214, VA card or driver’s license with a blue “V” in the bottom right corner.

Annual Veterans Day Celebration will be held at the Kanapaha Veterans Memorial Park located at 7400 SW 41 Place. The event will honor all veterans with a special emphasis on World War II and Korean War veterans.

The Veterans Day celebration will start at 9 a.m. with military and veteran displays and presentations. The formal program starts at 10 a.m.

In Ocala, the Marion County Facebook page created an event for the Veterans Day Celebration that will take place on Monday, November 11th at 11 am-1 pm at the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park

located on 2601 Southeast Fort King Street.

The Marion Civic Chorale will perform a program of patriotic and uplifting songs celebrating our nation's veterans. At the First Presbyterian Church located on 511 SE 3rd Street on Sunday, November, 10th from 3-5 pm.

Lake City will be having its Veterans Day Parade on November, 11th, from 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM starting in front of the DOT office on South Marion Avenue. If you are interest in participating please contact 386-752-5001 or 386-984-8026 for more information.
