Virginia man finds sister in Gainesville after 31 years
It was a typical afternoon at Sirrisa Miles's Gainesville apartment, when all of a sudden she received a random Facebook message from a man living nearly 700 miles away.
Both shocked and surprised, Sarrisa did what he asked and called him, not knowing that phone call would change their lives forever.
Fifteen years ago, Sarrisa's father told her she may have another sibling out in the world.
Sarissa had forgotten about that conversation with her father, until 31-year-old Rhachad Waring messaged her, claiming to be her brother.
Waring attributes their introduction to a DNA website as well as some personal Facebook research.
The two haven't met in person, but tell TV20 they are already working on it.
