Happy Friday everyone!

It's going to be a big weekend of Gator sports on the UF campus. Gator baseball cranks up its 2020 season, the last at McKethan Stadium, starting tonight at 6:30. The team takes on the Thundering Herd of Marshall in a three game series. The softball team is home, taking part in the Bubly Invitational tonight, Saturday and Sunday at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. They'll play North Dakota State, Longwood, Southeastern Lousiana and Florida A&M over the next few days. And the men's basketball team returns to the Odome Saturday night at 8 to face Vanderbilt.

It's a big weekend around Columbia County, too....Olustee Weekend. The activities all revolve around the 156th anniversary of the Civil War Battle of Olustee. The Olustee Festival started today and continues Saturday at 9 am at Wilson Park on Lake DeSoto in Lake City. There'll be over 200 booths with food and craft vendors from around the region. There'll also be a parade starting at 10:30 am downtown. East of Lake City, just off US 90, the Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park will have activities, too, featuring battle reenactments, and a lot more, on Saturday and Sunday.

Over near the Gulf coast, the Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival is back for the 12th year. Thousands attend the three day event that features food, live music and more than 100 vendors with their arts and crafts. The fun also includes a parade, car show, fiddler crab races, a cook-off and more. It goes until 11 tonight and Saturday night, and until 4 pm on Sunday.

It is Valentines Day and we have a few suggestions for you and your special someone to have an enjoyable evening. The Phillips Center in Gainesville features the Dance Alive National Ballet performance of Loveland. It starts tonight at 7:30. In Marion County, the Ocala Symphony Orchestra presents A John Williams Spectacular tonight at 7:30. The performance at the Reilly Arts Center is a celebration of the 88th birthday of the famous composer and conductor.

Also this weekend: VegFest Saturday at Bo Diddley Plaza. And it's LifeSouth Race Weekend.

Enjoy your weekend!
