West Marion Hospital CEO, Ginger Carroll, to take new position at an Inverness hospital

INVERNESS, Fla. (WCJB) – West Marion Hospital is losing its CEO.

Ginger Carroll is leaving the Ocala hospital to become the new chief executive officer of Citrus Memorial Hospital located in Inverness.

Carroll takes up this position with 16 years of experience in HCA Healthcare leadership experience. She came to Ocala Health as a nursing officer in 2003 and was promoted to the chief executive officer of West Marion in 2007.

Under her watch, the hospital grew from 70 beds to 174 beds; 12 Emergency Rooms to 31 and the OR capacity has doubled.
