By  |

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Unicorn Hill Farm, located off 39th Street in Gainesville has been growing Christmas trees since the late 1970's.

John Gregory, owner and co-founder of Unicorn Hill says growing the trees is a year long process. They have different task's required each month to make sure the trees don't die.

Even though it is challenging to grow Christmas trees in the Florida heat, Gregory says they are still able to grow 6 different varieties of trees. Unicorn Hill will open their doors on December 6th and if you want to get a tree, you better go quick, because Gregory says they sold out in 4 days last year.
