MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) -- A Marion County woman is behind bars after officers say her actions lead to the death of a man in her care.
The FDLE is charging Rebecca Fierle-Santoian of Marion County with aggravated abuse and neglect of an elderly person.
Officers say she ordered doctors not to help extend the life of the 74-year-old victim, despite the man saying he wanted to live.
She also ordered doctors to cap the victim's feeding tube against the man's wishes.
He died four days after the tube was capped.
Fierle-Santoian is being held on a $22,500 dollar bond at the Marion County jail.
