Gators picked second in SEC East

Coming off a 10-3 season in 2018, the Florida Gators have been predicted to finish runner-up in the SEC Eastern Division behind Georgia, according to a poll of conference media members. The Gators were also picked sixth in the race for the overall league title, while Alabama was the choice to beat out Georgia for the SEC title.

The balloting for the Eastern Division wasn't close, as the Gators trailed the Bulldogs in first place votes, 233 to 21.

Linebacker David Reese, runningback Lamical Perine, and athlete Kadarius Toney were all chosen for the second team.
