Gator Football gets commitment from in state 2020 OL Richie Leonard

As the Gator Football team is working hard over the summer, head Florida football Coach Dan Mullen and his staff are also working hard on the recruiting trail.

Earlier this evening, the football program received another commitment from a player in the class of 2020.

Three star offensive lineman Richie Leonard out of Cocoa High School announced that he will be wearing the orange and blue.

Leonard still has one more season of high school football left.

Former gators now NFL players, Chauncey-Gardner Johnson and Jewaan Taylor, also went to Cocoa High School.

Leonard picked florida over UCF, Miami, FSU, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech.

He's the 39th ranked offensive tackle in the country according to rivals.

Leonard said that he likes the game day atmosphere at florida and it's one of the best in the country, he also said u-f has some of the best fans in the nation.

Leonard joins a group of 19 prospects in the 2020 Class.

Two of these players are local and four star recruits. There's Eastside quarterback Anthony Richardson and Vanguard WR Leonard Manuel.
