Weekend crowd at boat ramps causes concerns for residents across Alachua County

A High Springs resident had to call law enforcement after crowds of more than 10 people met at a public boat ramp


The state government has ordered schools to remain closed until May 1st, to limit the spread of the coronavirus.


In an executive order the governor signed on Monday, restrictions on retired first-responders returning to service were lifted.


They say of the nearly 2300 people at the retirement community who were tested, only 25 were positive for COVID-19.
