Gainesville chapter of Veterans for Peace holds virtual tour of Memorial Mile in lieu of Memorial Day Ceremony

The decision was made due to concerns relating to COVID-19 and the fact that many of their volunteers are over the age of 60.


This was the first year that the community honored Memorial Day without Bob Gasche-- a decorated war hero from Alachua County, known for his dedication to the community and the country.
