It’s been 75 years since U.S. forces raised the American flag over Iwo Jima.

According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the suspect in Saturday's fatal hit-and-run has been arrested.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol say that at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, 67-year-old Frederick Patterson of McAlpine was traveling north on U.S. Highway 129 when for reasons unknown at this time veered right and leaving the roadway.

Suwannee County Sheriff's deputies say they found the body of 77-year-old Wayne Manuel at Curley's Trailer Park in Branford last week.
