GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A couple is pleading guilty to trafficking a child from Texas to Gainesville, Fla. to produce child pornography.

Timothy Frederick Murphy-Johnson, 40, of Gainesville, Florida, and Olivia Ashford Henn, 21, of Orlando, pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of production of child pornography, one count of conspiracy to produce child pornography. Murphy-Johnson also pleaded guilty to transporting a child for the purpose of sexual abuse.

Prosecutors say Murphy-Johnson took a child from Corpus Christi, Texas to Gainesville in June 2023. For more than a month, the child was held at Murphy-Johnson’s Gainesville home.

They say the child was subjected to “extreme sexual abuse” which both Murphy-Johnson and Henn filmed. Phone and internet records show the couple discussed the abuse and concerns about being arrested.

On July 25, 2023, investigators searching for the missing child executed a search warrant on the Gainesville home and rescued the child. Murphy-Johnson and Hunn were arrested.

Judge Allen C. Winsor will sentence the couple during a hearing at the federal courthouse in Gainesville on June 25 at 11:30 a.m.
