LONGWOOD, Fla. (WCJB) - At the start of the season, you could tell this team had the grit to battle through seven or more innings. They have won their last 15 games and every win is better than the last.
Columbia was down the majority of the game, including facing a 4-1 deficit through three innings. Then the Tigers started to chip away, cutting the lead to one. Seminole in the 7th added insurance, but a 5-3 lead was not enough.
The Tigers plated two to tie it up, which left room for Addy Sherman, who walked it off with an RBI single
The Tigers are one game away from their second title in program history.
We’ll find out on Saturday at 10 am.
