The project is projected at $1.45 billion
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The University of Florida is giving us a look at what Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will look like once renovations are complete.
Fans should experience a more comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable game day from arrival through departure. Improvements are expected to include more accessible concessions, improved restroom access, enhanced wayfinding, better traffic flow throughout the stadium, upgraded technology, and additional gathering spaces.
Construction is anticipated to begin following the 2026 football season, with completion targeted before the 2030 season. Additional milestones and project updates will be shared as planning and construction progress.
The project is expected to go before the Board of Trustees for final approval in September.
