Florida closes home exhibition slate with 85-68 win over Stetson

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Florida closed its home exhibition finale in style Tuesday night, defeating Stetson 85-68 at the O’Connell Center.

Denzel Aberdeen led the Gators with 22 points, going 4-for-5 from three, while Urban Klavzar boosted his Sixth Man of the Year case off the bench, shooting 50 percent from deep.

Florida used hot outside shooting and a second-half surge to pull away from the Hatters.

Next up for the Gators: the 2026-27 season opener in Tampa against in-state rival Miami.
