Fort McCoy woman dies after crashing vehicle into concrete pillar

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - A woman from Fort McCoy is dead after crashing her vehicle in Ocala Wednesday night.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the 39-year-old woman was traveling southbound on Southwest 110th Avenue just after 11 p.m.

The woman failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Southwest 95th Avenue, and the vehicle hit a large concrete pillar and caught fire.

Troopers said the woman died at the scene.
