More than 90 women-owned businesses set up at It’s Her Market

LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - More than 90 women-owned businesses set up shop in Lake City on Saturday to support each other through promotion and marketing.

The event, called It’s Her Market, aimed to make a difference among new business owners. Some vendors said they know the struggles of starting a business and want to help new vendors prioritize their own well-being.

Genna Bennet, a vendor, said it has been “incredible” seeing vendors support each other.

The event went until 3 p.m. Proceeds went toward the Doggy Rescue Ranch charity.
