Ocala Police dispel rumors of a shooting circulating on Facebook

A police department is on rumor patrol after a Facebook group spread misinformation.
The Ocala Police Department released this screenshot from the "Central Florida Crime Alerts" Facebook group.
A man said someone had been shot in front of OPD under a post about a helicopter seen flying over northeast Ocala.
Officers say no shooting took place and the helicopter was being used in a search warrant.
