Fulton and Souter then left the area. Columbia County Sheriff’s deputies arrested both individuals during a traffic stop Sunday evening. Fulton was charged with aggravated battery. Souter faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and discharging a weapon on residential property.
The FLOCK system uses microphones installed in specific locations to detect the sound of gunshots and alert authorities. The system was installed in the city in 2023.
