BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) - An appeals court on Wednesday rejected an appeal from Isaac Williams, one of the defendants in a Levy County murder case.

Williams was sentenced to life for first-degree murder in the 2023 shooting death of Malik Hall.

His appeal focused on alleged procedural issues and statements the prosecution made during closing arguments.

Williams received his sentence last year. The next month, Kentavious Brown, the second suspect in the case, was sentenced to 15 years.
