Marion County Sheriff joins Florida AG Uthmeier at Florida Chamber meeting

ORLANDO, Fla. (WCJB) - Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods joined Republican Attorney General candidate James Uthmeier at the statewide meeting of the Florida Chamber.

Woods said they discussed the fight to keep children safe.

The Democratic nominee for attorney general is Jose Rodriguez. His campaign talking points have included prosecuting people involved in the “Hope Florida” scandal.

A grand jury report found the nonprofit was used to inappropriately funnel $10 million in tax dollars.
