Gainesville man in federal court on child pornography charges

The owner of a fine jewelry store in Gainesville is in federal custody tonight on child pornography charges.
Howard Osgood, 78, appeared in federal court Thursday afternoon in Gainesville on one count of child porn production and one count of child porn possession. He owns Ozzie's Fine Jewelry.
FBI agents were seen at Osgood's home on West University Avenue at the end of May. He will remain in federal custody until a bond hearing that is set for Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Gary Jones.
